Rebuilding Day is the day we complete the majority of our home rehabilitation projects. This annual, one-day rebuilding blitz utilizes hundreds of volunteers to repair homes, revitalize communities, and rebuild lives. Following are important 2019 event forms and dates.
Post-Project Statistics Worksheet
HOUSE SELECTION MEETING – July 18
When: July 18th, 2019 at 7:00pm
Where: Second Baptist Church, 300 E Kansas St, Liberty, MO 64068 (Use South Entrance off of Kansas St. - Fellowship Hall)
Who: Rebuilding Day Crew Leaders
At this meeting, Crew Leaders select their house(s) for Rebuilding Day and receive contact information for the Homeowners.
- Email us at Info@RebuildingTogetherKC.org if you are attending the House Selection Meeting and we will send you a list of the project site addresses. Although no home visits are allowed before the meeting, you will be able to find the location of each house.
HOME VISIT – end of July to August 12
Crew Leaders should make their initial home visit sometime in the last part of July or the first few weeks of August to decide which repairs your crew will complete.
PROJECT ESTIMATE – by August 15
Project estimates need to be submitted to Rebuilding Together no later than August 15th. Available on-line, see Pre-Project Worksheet above.
CREW LEADERS MEETING – August 22
When: Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 7:00pm
Where: Second Baptist Church, 300 E Kansas St, Liberty, MO 64068 (Use South Entrance off of Kansas St. - Fellowship Hall)
Who: Rebuilding Day Crew Leaders
Finalize project budgets, discuss any special arrangements and permitting requirements, results of lead paint and asbestos tests, network resources, t-shirt orders, etc.
REBUILDING DAY 2019 – September 14
8:00 a.m., Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Gymnasium
Join us for coffee, doughnuts, orange juice, and breakfast bars. Pick up your ice bags, water bottles, t-shirts, and First Aid kits. Receive final instructions. Gather for a professional picture with your crew.
